MYFOXNY.COM - It was a panicky scene at P.S. 124 in South Ozone Park, Queens, Monday when some students complained of headaches after getting the swine flu vaccination.
After one or two children said they felt sick, apparently more children swamped the nurse's office, officials said.
The Health Department told Fox 5 that the school called 911 in an abundance of caution. Three children were taken to Jamaica Hospital for headaches, dizziness, and nausea. One of the children complaining of symptoms hadn't even gotten the vaccine.
However, school and health officials point out that it is not uncommon for people to have minor reactions to any vaccination, including the swine flu shot.
