Headaches, numbness, muscle weakness - all symtoms of H1N1 vaccine

I also wish there were more stories on here from people who GOT the vaccine.
I got the vaccine, and I haven't felt well ever since. I was perfectly fine before it, but since I work in an ICU constantly surrounded by Swine Flu patients, I thought it would be a good idea to get it. I wish I didn't get it.
I have had numbness and tingling down the right side of my body, neck stiffness, major muscle weakness (can't grasp the wheel to my car), headaches, and fatigue. I am going to see a neurologist tomorrow... eh.

  1. Hi, I also feel numbness and muscle twitching on my injected arm and some parts of my legs, since I got the H1N1 vaccine.
How was your meeting with a neurologist? Please let me know. Thanks!

  2. Hi, I have similar symptoms. I've got both vaccines two weeks ago and since that I feel terrible. Strong headaches on the right side of my head, tingling in both my hands, fatigue. I will never take any flu shot in future.

  3. I'm sorry, this is just a report on a forum that I read. if you click the title link you may be able to ask the original poster.... I wish you both the best of luck and a speedy recovery. You may want to visit the naturalnews.com site that I list on the right hand side. They have some great tips for detoxing your body and/or natural supplements to help your body get through this. It's also important that you alert your local health departments, although they don't really care - it's important that YOU have a report of these symptoms to an authority for YOUR records. At the very least, contact your doctors and report the symptoms.

Please keep me updated. I'm so sorry you are having to go through this.

  5. Hello, my pregnant friend, who is due for a c-section on December 28th had the H1N1 vaccine last week. Within 36 hours, she woke up in the night to numbness on the side of her body that received the shot - almost like stroke symptoms. Her arm and face were especially numb. She went to the hospital and they told her there's no way this could have been a reaction to the vaccine. She's a healthy, pregnant 33 yr. old who has never had any other health problems. The numbness took at least two days to go away, but she's still really concerned about the long term effects.

  6. I'm glad she's feeling better! That must have been really scary for her, let her know about the naturalnews site on the right hand side of the home page.

Thank you for reporting that, maybe a real pattern will emerge that someone will really listen to.

  7. I got the H1n1 shot and I also had some arm numbness and soreness for a few days, but its gone now. My sister got it yesterday and her arm is numb as well. One of my coworkers who had the shot had arm swelling and numbness as well.

  8. The swelling etc, on the side of the arm probably isnt' abnormal. The vaccine depot goes into the muscle, and there will be an immunological response, of which swelling is commonly associated with, in that location.

The scientists kill the virus so that it cannot replicate in you. Then, they do their best to keep it's shape and components in tact. That way when it's injected into your body the billions of immature immune cells will be able to respond to a piece of the virus that they happen to have a receptor that's complementary to. When that happens, and immune response occurs in which the cells which were stimulated will proliferate in number and differentiate into various types of response cells.

  9. Has anybody had these symptoms with the inhaled version (nasal spray) of the H1N1 vaccine? My girlfriend started feeling numbness on one side of her body that has been spreading and we are trying to figure out if it could be due to the vaccine.

  10. Yes, others have experienced that. Some say it went away in a few days and others are still suffering after 12 days or more.
Please report this to your doctor.

  11. I just got the vaccine 2 weeks ago. Needless to say, I just recently started having numbness and tingling in my arms. I have also had strange feelings in my chest area. I thought that maybe I was sleeping wrong, but just sitting watching tv, my left arm has been tingling. I got the shot in my right arm, so I am not sure if this is even shot related. Two days after the shot I had a migrane so bad, I was out for three days. I also had some dizziness, and felt like my feet weren't doing exactly what they needed to do to walk. I'm just hoping this all goes away, and things can get back to normal.

  12. I am having the same issues. I have had MRI's and multiple tests. The neurologist said it wouldn't be from the shot. But it started within hours of it. I started with a numb left arm, then it went to my cheek then down to my leg. It has now spread to my left arm and I very dizzy a nausus. It has been over a month of feeling this way with no answers. Has it went away for anyone here?

  14. I've had headaches since the H1N1 shot in April 2010. Headaches, every day since then! It feels like my hearing/ears are blocked up by sinus pressure - but doctors say there is no blockage although just once in the past 6 months since H1N1 one doctor did say I had fluid behind my eardrums but it must have disappeared on its own leaving no relief in symptoms! Most every day since the shot I feel like I have a cold, but without much mucous. I've felt weak, listless, and my head throbs when I lie flat, strain, cough, sneeze, bend down, get up, etc - it's not blood pressure and the only relief I get is from Sudafed but that doesn't last long & I can't keep taking those. I feel like I need a good dose of strong antibiotics but nobody will give me them because I only have a headache as a symptom! HELP! Am wondering how much longer this pain will continue - and worse, what the shots will do to my children who had theirs the same time as me!? Anyone suffering similar, please contact me, I'd love to hear from you on this. Thanks - freemee007@yahoo.com

  15. Well here it is a year later and this year you cannot get a flu shot that doesnt have the H1N1 vaccine in it. After my family got vaccinated last year, my husband and teenage son were fine. I had muscle aches and fatigue for 3 weeks. My 11 year old had muscle aches, fatigue, and severe headaches that lasted for about 6 weeks. We all had the regular flu shot on a different day, with no side effects. I am afraid to take the flu shot this year because my previous bad reaction to the H1N1 vaccine last year. Hope I don't end up with the flu.
